Fiona Inglis

Fiona Inglis grew up at The Rock, riding ponies and reading The Silver Brumby books. She graduated from Melbourne University in 1978 and began work in the publishing industry, firstly in sales and marketing and eventually in editing. She worked in London in the mid-eighties and returned to Australia where she settled in Sydney. She is now a literary agent and Managing Director of Curtis Brown (Aust) Pty Ltd, the agency which represented Elyne Mitchell during her long writing career, and now manages her Estate. Fiona is the mother of two small boys and she and her partner take them down to visit the country of her childhood as often as they can.
 

Nicole Alexander

Nicole Alexander is recognized as Australia’s Bush Storyteller. A fourth generation grazier, she lives in north-west NSW on a mixed agricultural property selected by her great-grandfather in 1893. A passionate writer for over twenty years, Nicole’s bestselling rural novels have been praised for their authenticity and the rich tapestry of outback life which is woven into her stories. Nicole’s novels are available in Australia, New Zealand and Germany, and are distributed in the United States and Canada. Absolution Creek will be released in Sept. 2012
 

Maris Morton

After a career that has included working as a teacher, public servant, shearers’ cook and shed hand, art gallery director and exhibiting artist, Maris has turned to writing crime fiction. Her first novel, A Darker Music, was the inaugural winner of the CAL/Scribe Fiction Prize, published in 2010. She also writes short stories, most of them set in the country, and has had some of them published.
After growing up in Melbourne she has lived and worked in country areas of Victoria, Western Australia and NSW.
